Uno, Dos...

     "…I am grateful for the lessons learned and excited about what awaits me." The exact concluding line I wrote in my reflection for the first quarter. I am still in owe because those exact lines about "being excited about what awaits me" truly defined my second quarter—an entirety of Diligence, Opportunities, and Surreality.

    Counting from uno, dos… stopping off to spell out DOS, letter D is for Diligence. My diligence as a student and leader has been a cornerstone of my academic success and personal growth. I am rooted in hard work and determination. Through consistent and genuine effort in accomplishing my class tasks and fulfilling my organizational duties, I have demonstrated a strong commitment to achieving my goals. Through this, I have positively impacted my academic journey. This quality not only drove my success for the second quarter but also inspired those around me to strive for excellence.

    O is for Opportunities. I was offered limitless opportunities that enriched my experiences. Volunteering as a science student-teacher allowed me to share my love for the subject with younger students, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject for both them and me. Moreover, I was chosen to be one of the representatives of the school for the National Statistics Month Stat Groove Contest, which was an exhilarating experience. This contest simply left me a remarkable experience in both singing and dancing, while also fostering my knowledge about statistics. As well as, with our impromptu and extemporaneous public speaking classes, I was given an opportunity to refine my public speaking skills, enhancing my confidence in expressing my thoughts clearly and effectively. Not to mention, participating in a United Nations pageantry at school broadened my perspective on global issues and inspired me to engage more actively in social causes. Through these opportunities, I not only discovered my passions but also realized the vast potential I possess.

    To add the cherry on top, S is for Surreality. As I reflect on my journey for the second quarter, being here gives me a sense of surreality. I have unearthed my greatest potential, revealing strengths I never knew I possessed. 

My diligence has served as a stepping stone, guiding me toward my aspirations and dreams. Every opportunity have not only enriched my knowledge but also molded my character. With every moment I seize, I feel surreal, empowered and inspired, knowing that I am steadily moving closer to achieving my goals.

    D-O-S—Diligence, Opportunities, and Surreality. That's how my second quarter is defined. Oh... yes, I could not continue counting till' Tres, because it's yet to be sought and defined.
