This year’s theme, “Weaving Culture, Enriching Future: Empowering Indigenous Communities as Bedrock of Sustainable Development,” reminds us that Indigenous Peoples are not just echoes of the past, they are the foundation of our nation’s present and future. Their traditions, like threads in a vast tapestry, connect the lessons of yesterday to the promise of tomorrow.
To "weave culture" is to live it in every action.
